PRINCE2® Foundation Training Course Goals

As of right now PeopleCert is the designated Examination Institute and the sole provider of the PRINCE2® 2017 Foundation and Practitioner exams.

Our PRINCE2® 2017 training is provided in cooperation and under guidance from POTIFOB LLC, the Authorized Traning Organization.

Our PRINCE2® Foundation course covers the basics of the PRINCE2® method. It is aimed at giving delegates an understanding of the philosophy behind the PRINCE2® method and preparing them for the PRINCE2® Foundation certification exam, which they sit at in the second half of the third day of the course.

Course Description

PRINCE2® 2017 Foundation course is delivered in cooperation with POTIFOB LLC which is a PRINCE2® Accredited Training Organization (ATO). Our PRINCE2® Foundation is a three day course with the official PRINCE2® Foundation certification exam given at the end of the third day. We strongly recommend to our customers dedicate enough time before the training to pre-course preparation according our instructions. We recommend dedicating approximately 20 hours with pre-course preparation, across at least a week, or preferably over two weeks just before the course. The course consists of a well-balanced mix of theory and practical exercises.

Purpose

PRINCE2® Foundation exam is aimed at measuring whether a candidate could act as an informed member of a project management team on a project using the PRINCE2® method, within an environment supporting PRINCE2®. To this end the candidate needs to be able to show he or she understands the principles and terminology of the method, specifically:

• The purpose & responsibilities of all roles.
• The 7 principles, 7 themes, 7 processes, and the Product-based Planning and Quality Review techniques.
• Which management products are input to, output from, and updated in the seven processes.
• The purpose of all management products and the composition of the Business Case, Product Descriptions, Issue Report and the Issue, Risk and Quality Registers.
• The relationship between principles, processes, themes, deliverables & roles within a PRINCE2® project.

You will obtain preliminary exam results immediately.

PRINCE2® Practitioner Training Course Goals

To provide a roadmap to our participants on how to apply PRINCE2® principles, themes, and processes in real projects, approaches to be taken to tailor themes and processes.

Course Description

PRINCE2® 2017 Practitioner course is delivered in cooperation with POTIFOB LLC which is a PRINCE2® Accredited Training Organization (ATO). Our PRINCE2® Practitioner course is a two-day long course with the official PRINCE2® Practitioner certification exam given on the second day. This is a very intense course that will involve a lot of thinking, discussion and collaboration of teachers and participants. We strongly recommend to our participants dedicate enough time before the training to pre-course preparation according our instructions. We recommend leaving the evening before the exam to yourself to relax and to get a good sleep. This is not an easy exam and don’t come assuming you can wing it. It takes effort, dedication and in-depth understanding of PRINCE2® 2017 framework to pass it.

On average around 70% of participants manage to pass this exam.

Purpose

PRINCE2® Practitioner exam is aimed at measuring whether a candidate could act as a project manager or direct a project.

You should obtain preliminary exam results on the same day.

If taken together with the Foundation course the entire cost will be $1699 including both Foundation & Practitioner exams and the official manual “Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2®” from Axelos®.
